Where Will My Criminal Charges Be Heard?
As an experienced NYC Criminal Defense Lawyer, clients often ask me about where their charges will be held. If you’re arrested in Brooklyn, New York, your case will be at the Brooklyn Criminal Court at 120 Schermerhorn Street. It’s the county for which you were arrested. If you were arrested up in West Chester, you might be going to a local town court. If you were arrested down in Long Island, it might be in one of the county courts in Minneola or it might be in one of the more local courts. It depends on the level of the crime. If you have been arrested, give me a call and we’ll go over your documents to determine where you have to go to court.
